Faculty Welcomes New Medieval Specialist

Kellie Robertson recently received her doctorate from Yale University. She comes to Pittsburgh from the University of Southern Illinois where she has taught for the past year. Her research engages issues of language and literacy in medieval and early modern Europe; this work has been supported by a teaching fellowship from the University of Leeds in Britain and by John F. Enders and Andrew W. Mellon grants in the United States. She has published articles on Geoffrey of Monmouth and Milton, and is currently at work on a book exploring the intersection of labor theory and literary production in the later
