Ellen Bishop has taught at the University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, Pa. and was a visiting Professor at Chonnam University in Gwangju, South Korea for two years (1996-98). She has an MFA in poetry and a black belt in the Korean form of Kouk Sundo.
