Paul A. Bové is the Editor of boundary 2, an international journal of literature and culture, published by Duke University Press. Recently, he has lectured at Columbia University, The University of Notre Dame, Dartmouth College, Penn State University, and the University of Hong Kong, and will be lecturing at the American Studies Association national conference and the Modern Language Association meeting in Philadelphia. He has articles forthcoming in Law and Literature, Argument, and Comparative Literature.
Research and Publications: The author of several books on culture, modernity, poetry, and the intellectual, Professor Bové is now completing a book on Henry Adams as well as a collection of essays called, "The End of Thinking." His current research interests are "globalization," "emergence," "intellectuals," and problems of truth in relation to literature, criticism, and philosophy. He has just published a new book, Poetry Against Torture, and is giving the keynote lecture to the Irish Institute at the National Gallery in Dublin. He is continuing work on Henry Adams and he is editing for boundary 2 two volumes devoted to Secularism and Post-Secularism.
