Ann Ronchetti is Pitt's bibliographer for English, comparative literature and the performing arts other than music. She develops the library's collections in literature in English (except for Africana and African Americana), comparative literature, literary criticism, critical theory, cultural studies, composition and rhetoric, writing, film studies, theater arts and dance. She also consults with faculty and students doing research in these areas.
In addition to bibliography, her areas of interest include the Modernists, nineteenth century English literature, and women and literature. She is a reviewer for Choice and the author of The Artist, Society & Sexuality in Virginia Woolf's Novels (Routledge, 2004). She holds a PhD in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
