Postdoctoral Research Associate, Department of Exhibitions and Publications, The Yale Center for British Art, New Haven, CT

I am committing to conceiving of childhood studies and book history as genuinely interdisciplinary fields. At the YCBA I have continued to work at the intersection of art history and literary studies by combining research and writing with curatorial duties. We have a robust collection of Rare Books and Manuscripts on site as well as the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library down the street, so for me this is a perfect place to engage with a wide range of textual materials as well as a different kind of university audience.

PhD Year: 2012

Specialization: Nineteenth-century British print culture, especially illustration and children’s books
