Steven Jeffrey LeMieux

Steven LeMieux grew up in Alaska and Texas. He earned his PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from The University of Texas at Austin, and he teaches in the Composition and Digital Narrative and Interactive Design (DNID) Programs at the University of Pittsburgh. He teaches courses on composition, digital media, and sustainability. His research is focused on rhetorical theory, environmental and digital rhetorics, experimental design, and composition. He was a recipient of the John C. Mascaro Lectureship for work that engages students at the intersections of composition and sustainability. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, two kids, and two cats.
