Lindsey Williams

Lindsey Williams is a graduate student in the English department. Her research interests include multimodality, translingualism, alternate writing styles, and the first-year writing classroom. She is currently researching into asset-based pedagogies and their benefits for linguistically and culturally diverse college writing classrooms. Williams’s goal with research is for it to serve her teaching practices.
Williams has presented at the 2024 Conference on College Composition and Communication in Spokane, Washington, where she presented on a panel on multimodality. Her presentation was titled ‘I Know how to Play the Game: Gaming and Game Development as a Pedagogical Approach to Teaching ESL Students.’
Williams has taught both Seminar in Composition as well as ESL: Workshop in Composition.
