Sangi Lama

Sangi Lama is from Hetauda, Nepal. She is currently at work on a collection of short stories that follows a cast of Nepali and Nepali American individuals as they navigate love, separation, and community. Her writing has been supported by fellowships and residencies from Kundiman, Tin House, and the Carolyn Moore Writing Residency. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and previously worked as the Marketing Assistant at Tin House. She is an MFA student in Fiction at the University of Pittsburgh.
