Anna Lomando (PhD, 1988) is enjoying retirement and time with family, including children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

His program received a 2024 Diana Hacker Two-Year College English Association Award from the National Council of Teachers in English and Bedford/St. Martin's.

Marlee Gallagher (BA, English Writing/PPW, 2010) is currently executive director for the  Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall! This TribLIVE feature on Gallagher includes references to her undergrad studies at Pitt English.

Julian (Jules) Hood (BA, English Literature and Writing, 2014) is a content designer (UX Writer) at PNC Bank. For the 2025-2026 term, they were elected vice president of the PNC Proud Pittsburgh chapter, a LGBTQ+ affinity work group. This past year, they bought a home in the Greenfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Kate Koenig (BA, English Writing, 2018) reports that her debut young adult novel, Her Sharp Embrace is slated for a fall 2025 publication at Wednesday Books.

Josh Zelesnick (MFA, 2007) is the author of Insert Coin, a collection of poems published by Finishing Line Press earlier this year.
