Micki Myers (MFA, 1997) is the creator of Prose & Cons: A Literary Card Game (Andrews McNeel, 2026), a Cards Against Humanity-esque game designed especially for litnerds. Myers is a published author of poetry and has been an English teacher at both the university and secondary levels.Box for the Prose & Cons Game, white font on black background

Nick Trizzino (BA in Public and Professional Writing, 2020) is completing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling at Duquesne University. Trizzino served as a communications intern for The Fifth Floor in 2019; you can read his contributions here.

In 2025, Joe Master (BA in English Writing/Philosophy, 2004) joined Carnegie, a higher education marketing group, as senior vice president of brand management. Master also was elected board president of the College and University Public Relations Association of Pennsylvania (CUPRAP).

Amy Hayes (BA in English Writing/Film and Media Studies, 2012) is currently working as an attorney after graduating from Harvard Law in 2022. Prior to that, she worked at PBSLearningMedia creating classroom-focused content. She also served as an editor for the children's book publisher, Cavendish Square, following graduation from Pitt.

Mrs. Nussbaum's Monkey is the title of a full-length collecton of poems by Frank Lehner (BA, English Writing, 1984) published in 2025 by Bottom Dog Press as the first book in its Working Lives series.

Nathaniel Heggins Bryant (PhD in Literature, 2014) teaches at California State University, Chico, where he recently earned tenure and was promoted to associate professor. He also serves as faculty union chapter president at the university.
